Description: Villa Diamante is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac amongst a bower of trees and vivid bougainvillea. Built in two pavilions separated by a spacious sun deck and an octagonal pool overlooking Sir Francis Drake Channel and the U.S. Virgins beyond, this whimsical artist's hideaway offers charm and seclusion with flair. The main pavilion houses the living room with a kitchen area separated by Mexican wooden screens, and a powder room is just around the corner; on the other side of the pavilion is a romantic covered lanai for dining by the deck. This pavilion is bordered by a covered gallery on the pool side set with comfy overstuffed chaises, just perfect for sinking into with that stack of magazines and a cold cocktail. Across the pool deck is the second pavilion, built on two levels and graced with a colorful riot of flowering plants. The deck level offers the king master suite with its polished hardwood floor (bare feet only, please!) and inventive decor accented by collections of seashells, antique pieces and a blend of pleasing textures and fabrics. The queen bedroom/bath suite is just above; each suite offers ocean vistas and cooling tradewinds. Villa Diamante is uniquely furnished with rustic but very comfortable furniture, adorned by ethnic fabrics and accessories, shells, knick-knacks from around the world, and displays a rare sense of style in Caribbean colors. You'll find this serene and private property the perfect spot from which to watch the yachts sail into the sunset.

Amenities: Cable TV, DVD player + VCR in living area, TV (no cable) + DVD player in master bedroom, 4 CD players, radio, 2 iPod docks + speakers, movie + music collections, books, games, A/C in master bedroom + in lower bedroom pavilion (but not in upper-level queen suite), answering machine, fax machine, hair dryers, safes for valuables, charcoal grill, cooler, dishwasher, optional personal laundry service by housekeeper ($20 per load for wash, dry + fold). Swimming pool: 16' x 21' x 5' - 7.5' deep (octagonal).

Other notes: Villa Diamante's two bedrooms are situated one on top of the other, and there is little soundproofing between the upper and lower floors; therefore, we recommend that this villa be rented by families rather than to 3 couples, but of course, this is entirely up to you. The rental rates listed above do not include GOVERNMENT HOTEL TAX (8% for villas in the U.S. Virgin Islands; 7% for the BVI). A minimum 7-night rental is required during the HIGH SEASON, 5 nights during the LOW SEASON, and 10-14 nights, depending on the villa and island, during the Christmas/New Year's season
